The Greatest Gift of Love #Valentine’s #Jesus

What great love we have received from our creator that He gave His son as the payment for our transgressions.

Today as you are hearing about all the gifts received on Valentine’s day, remember that you have received a gift greater than anything you could receive from Hallmark or Jared.

We were separated from God by our sin. We all sin! Yet, the Lord has given us a way of redemption. Faith in His Son, Jesus, and what Jesus did for us on the cross is all that it takes to receive our gift.

Jesus, God’s son, died for our sins. But three days later Jesus awoke from death, His body now glorified, and presented himself to several hundred people as proof of His resurrection. He then ascended into Heaven with a promise, that He will return to bring all those who believe in Him into His kingdom. Those believers who die before Jesus returns will be resurrected as Jesus was on the day He returns.

The gift of salvation, eternal life and a connection with our creator through faith in Jesus comes to us by the grace and love of God.

He loves you! Accept His gift and know that you are loved.

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),”
Ephesians 2:4‭-‬5 NASB

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
John 3:15‭-‬18 NASB

“When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.”
Colossians 2:13‭-‬14 NASB
