Will Satan Use AI to Feign Omniscient Knowledge and Power?

Today I came across an article that was originally written for The Daily Star UK titled; The end of GOD? Claims humans will ‘worship AI Messiah’.

The article cites comments from MIT physicist and cosmologist Max Tegmark who suggests that “once this new superintelligence is vastly greater than that of a human, the fate of mankind will depend on it.”

Then of course they had to get input from the well known God denier Dan Brown.

Novelist Dan Brown previously warned people may no longer worship God or pray to Jesus – instead putting all their faith in an AI messiah.

Speaking about the advent of this technology, the Da Vinci Code writer said: “Humanity no longer needs God but may with the help of artificial intelligence develop a new form of collective consciousness that fulfils the role of religion.

Will Satan Use AI to Feign Omniscient Knowledge and Power?

This is something I have thought about before. Working in IT for a very large company allows me to hear about and see new technology that is exciting but also scary. Some things that I can’t discuss here due to NDAs.

I try not to be a conspiracy theorist, but I have read to the end of the Bible. I’ve also read the middle parts which have quite a bit on information about end time circumstances. I know that what I read in the Bible is true and will happen. I just don’t know exactly how.

Will AI be the beast?

The technology and high dependence on internet/digital news now exists to a point that can allow Satan and the beast to confuse even the elect.  (Matthew 24:24) As people rely on their electronic devices for news and videos and Artificial/Augmented Reality “AR” becomes a thing, the antichrist and false prophets will be able to “show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect”.

Before the return of my Savior the adversary, Satan, will have a few goons running around fooling people into believing in an antichrist. The goons are the beast, the false prophet and the antichrist.

The advanced nature of AI and the infrastructure that it now lives on (think IBM Deep Blue but way faster and with more connections), with ominous names like “Dragon” at HP and the new systems at Oak Ridge, TN, will allow the beast to access all your digital data and “speak” directly to you with knowledge and understanding about you that would seem omniscient. Then the injection of an evil intent is all that is needed to get the process rolling to believe in an AI God.

Think on this and leave your comments for discussion in the OneChristianMan.com Forums.

“Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty”

“And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had been victorious over the beast and his image and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of God. And they sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,

“Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty;

Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!

“Who will not fear, O Lord,

and glorify Your name?

For You alone are holy;

For all the nations will come and worship before you,

for your righteous acts

have been revealed .””

“But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”

Caricature of Godliness

A caricature is “a picture, description, or imitation of a person or thing in which certain striking characteristics are exaggerated in order to create a comic or grotesque effect.” (Google)

Such is the picture of what a Christian looks like when they have forgotten the power of the God they have said they serve.

A grotesque figure of what should be a beautiful portrait of a believer who serves a powerful and living God.

They are showing up to be religious on Sunday, but denying the power of God by the way they are living on Monday.

Don’t get me wrong, we all mess up. But there is an absolute difference between slipping up with a repentant heart and a total rejection of God’s power to punish your sin.

These characters who deny God’s power are ones to stay away from. Try to pull them from the fire if possible, but don’t let these fool you into believing false teachings.

 “But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.”

2 Timothy 3:1‭-‬5 NASB

“But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. And have mercy on some, who are doubting; save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh.”

Jude 1:17‭-‬23 NASB

“They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed.”
Titus 1:16 NASB
