Joseph went through some real family issues. It’s amazing to me how Joseph reacted when he saw his brothers for the first time after what they did to him.
His older half-brothers from three seperate moms had sold him as a slave, seperating him from a loving father and his baby brother from the same mom. Yeah, Joseph’s life was complicated.
Yet Joseph had already came to the realization that God had put him through all this as part of the plan to save his family. Joseph forgave his brothers and comforted them by telling them he forgave them.
God still uses our life situations to bring His plans to fruition. What situations have you come through that have allowed you to help or comfort others?
But Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in God’s place? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive. So therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” So he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.
