his mercy remains

Who are you?
we will fall
we will cause shame
we will disappoint
we will have pain
But the Love of our God
will always contain
the mercy sufficient
and the restoring refrain
to raise us out of the punishment

Are you Paul? Murderer! Persecutor! Repentant! Evangelist to the Gentiles!
Are you Judas? Betrayer! Greedy! Remained in His sin! Hanging from a tree!
Are you Saul? Disobedient! Jealous! Remained in His sin! Fell on His sword!
