This is one of the phrases most christians seem to overlook. The majority of people calling themselves Christian do forget what God Himself said about that man of flesh and blood (Jesus being His only begotten beloved son) and what Jesus himself said about himself and his heavenly Father (that he – Jesus – could do nothing without his heavenly Father, the Only One true God).
Let us pray that more people shall come to recognise that Jesus is the sent one from God who is the way to God and did put his own will aside to do the Will of God, giving his life as a ransom offering for all sins.
That more people may come to know that Jesus now sits at the right hand of his heavenly Father, as a high-priest for God and as a mediator for us all.
A pity your title missed some clarification words, because naturally there are and there have been many mediators. There have been many mediators between men and women but also several mediators provided by God to mediate between Him and man. Remember for example Moses.
But naturally people should know that at the moment we do have only one mediator between God and us in heaven and that is the only begotten son of God.
Very true.
